cabinets

Our kitchen cabinets were installed last Wednesday. We.Love.Them! They aren't finished with all of them, but you'll get the idea. 

This is the kitchen! You are standing in the middle of the breakfast and great room.

This is where our gas cooktop, Advantim, and double ovens will be.

Our refrigerator will go here. Duh!

This is our island that you were looking at the back of in the first picture. The dishwasher is on the left, then the sink in the middle and the cabinet to the right of the sink will have a pull out double trashcan.

Next is the back splash tile and granite. See picture below. The granite is Giallo Ornamental.

Our cabinets are 42", the tallest cabinets you can get. We love the look of cabinets all the way to the ceiling, but since our ceilings are so tall, 9 ft, we are having our trim and cabinet guys add a trim to the top of our cabinets. Here is what it will kind of look like. Sorry for the picture taken like that on my phone. I couldn't remember how to save it as a jpg file.

Before moving on, please check out our hardwood floor in the pictures! They are beautiful! Once everything is completed, they will stain them a dark walnut color. I think that color will look nice against the Bisque color cabinets.

Next up is our Master Bathroom. This color reminds me of the color our hardwood floor will be.   

We are putting Azul Platino granite in the master and the tile is grey and white, seen in the picture below.

Next is Jack's bathroom. The cabinets weren't installed yet, but if they are today, then I'll add another picture. His cabinets are ivory and will have a double sink. I thought that would make the bathroom more youthful!

The guest bathroom that is on the 2nd floor has a light maple color cabinet with a single sink.

In both Jack's bathroom and the guest bathroom, the tile will be a light beige. The same tile will also be in the laundry room on the main floor. We will pick up a marble countertop for both bathrooms on the 2nd floor.

Oh I just remembered that we bought a vanity with countertop for our 1/2 bath off the garage. We found it at Lowe's! Our builder was originally going to put a pedestal sink and I didn't want one. I told him I would find a vanity. I think it will look great with our kitchen cabinets since it is very close to it. We took it right off the floor so it will a little discounted! ha! The bathroom will have the dark walnut as the floor.

We are so excited about having the cabinets installed!!! We love them all and can't wait to see the finished product when they are completed!
